IQ #228 Compelled By the Spirit
On this first day of my unknown future, I looked at my verse
for the day and it says, "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me,
my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has
given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. - Acts 20:24
Paul expressed earlier in his farewell address to the
Ephesian Elders, he was adventuring to Jerusalem and into the unknown, led by
his faith and compelled by the Spirit.
No matter where my personal life's journey takes me, it will
mean nothing unless I fervently answer God's calling.
There are obstacles in my path that keep trying to blind my
way, but they are only obstacles and will not deter my faith, because I have
endured and defeated many obstacles before, through trust and faith in God's
grace, love and power.
For those of you who are facing obstacles that are affecting
your quest for a meaningful and joyous
life, let your hope be filled with your faith in God, and trust our never
changing Lord and Savior and be filled by the Holy Spirit and be guided along
the path our Father has set for you.
